روز سه‌شنبه گوگل علاوه بر بروزرسانی کروم تحت iOS، این مرورگر را برای ویندوز، مک و لینوکس نیز بروزرسانی کرده و نسخه‌ی ۳۸ کروم با از بین بردن ۱۵۹ باگ امنیتی برای دانلود در اختیار کاربران قرار گرفت. می‌توان این بروزرسانی را از داخل مرورگر دریافت کرد. بسته‌ی بروز رسانی هزینه‌ای ۷۵٫۰۰۰ دلاری را روی دست گوگل گذاشته است.
